Ray White New Farm has shown why its the leader in auctions in the area, with its inaugural event, ‘auctions under the stars’, seeing a 70 per cent clearance rate.

“The success of this event left no shadow of doubt about the state of the current market, and Ray White New Farm’s strength within the marketplace. Our auction success rate for the night was 70 per cent, well above the Brisbane average of 51 per cent,” Matt Lancashire , principal of Ray White New Farm said.

The event, held on Thursday 3 July 2014, registered 100 bidders across 10 properties, with seven homes selling under the hammer.

“It was a fantastic night, with some huge results achieved. The atmosphere was electric, with over 220 people attending,”

The evening was catered by Gerard’s bistro, who provided canapés throughout the night and News Limited and realestate.com.au sponsored the event.

“We thank the team at Gerard’s for the wonderful service they provided on the night, and the event would not have been possible without our sponsors, News Limited and realestate.com.au,” Matt explains.

“We also managed to raise over $500 for the New Farm Community Centre through a raffle on the night. A massive thank you to Gerard’s Bistro for providing a $200 dinner voucher to raffle.”

“We’d like to Congratulate everyone who purchased and sold their properties on the night, we hope it was an enjoyable process for them all. And a big thank you to everyone that came along – we hope they had a great night and we look forward to seeing everyone next year!” Matt concludes.
