Ray White Rural Inverell supports Farm Angels

Firing up the grill on Byron Street in their best flannels, the office recently raised $2,215.60 for Farm Angels Australia’s annual Flanno for a Farmer campaign.

The nationwide initiative delivers essential financial assistance and mental health support to primary producers. 

With dry weather putting pressure on the district and deep personal ties to the land across the office, stepping up for local farming families was a clear priority. 

Team members Lucy McCowen, executive assistant to Sue Fox and Investment Management Administration, and Jess Moore, senior residential and industrial investment manager, took the lead by organising a street-side community barbecue and a raffle.

“Being part of a close-knit community like Inverell, this cause hits especially close to home for us,” said Ms McCowen.

"The majority of our crew either come from a farming background, work directly with rural families, or actively farm themselves. Some of us have seen firsthand the incredible work Farm Angels do on the ground. When the campaign came up, getting involved was an easy decision."
