THE WELL-KNOWN Canavan real estate family of Mansfield are set to partner with Australasia’s leading real estate agency, Ray White.
Established by Mansfield local, John Canavan in 1966, the name has been synonymous with trust, integrity and professionalism in the Victorian town for the past 55 years.
Mr Canavan’s granddaughter, Missy Daly is continuing the family legacy as the new Principal along with partner Matthew Daly (pictured above). Joining forces with the Ray White Group, Team Canavan will be operating in Mansfield from October 9.
The partnership will merge the longest standing and most reputable real estate office in Mansfield with Australasia’s largest real estate group as well as also representing a coming together of two market leading family businesses.
Ms Daly is no stranger to real estate saying it’s part of her family’s DNA after three generations in the real estate business.
“I’ve been around real estate all my life with John being a successful developer and agent in Mansfield,” Ms Daly said
“I still remember driving around paddocks, looking at subdivisions and putting up signs to help my grandfather when I was only six years old.
“All of my family have been involved in real estate in some way, so it’s in the blood. For me there was nothing else I wanted to do.”
The real estate power couple have taken over the family business after 15 years on the Sunshine Coast where Ms Daly worked in a top real estate agency, while Mr Daly ran a successful medical business.
The Dalys said they are looking forward to not only continuing the Canavan legacy but also bringing an energetic and innovative approach to the business.
“For us, innovation is key. We don’t want to do something just because it’s done, we want to do it the best way possible” Ms Daly said.

Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Stephen Dullens welcomed the Dalys to the Ray White family.
