An exclusive Kangaroo Point penthouse owned by the producer of a popular children’s television cartoon has hit the market.

The two-level penthouse, at 35/89 Lambert Street, Kangaroo Point, is spread over 311sqm and offers expansive city views, which create a dramatic, yet welcoming home.

It is a reluctant sale for current owner, Alan Jenner, who will move his production company, Pen2Stage Productions, offshore as he pursues the Asian market. Pen2Stage is responsible for productions such as Spongebob Squarepants.

“We have lived here for 3 years, in what we call our “SkyRanch” and we’ll miss the way it has always made us feel special, proud and given us that 'welcome' feel everyday,” Mr Jenner said.

“The views are a huge feature, with the view of Riverfire starting at the Story Bridge and then continuing to Kangaroo Point Cliffs, along the city skyline to Southbank so you don't miss a trick,” he said.

“One of my favourite moments here was my parents surprise 50th Wedding Celebration when we hosted over 50 family members & friends. There was a gold theme and I'm sure everyone driving southbound on the Story Bridge would have seen the balcony lit up with sparkling lights and metallic gold balloons.”

Mr Jenner says the living/dining area is a warm yet edgy room with the chocolate timber floor topped off with the massive amount of glass and natural light and the kitchen has huge bench space, perfect for those who love to cook.

“One of us likes to cook, and the other likes to eat! SkyRanch has always hosted several BBQ’s a week, as it really is a marvellous space to enjoy Queensland weather.”

With no expense spared, this dramatic home is ready for its next owners to move in and enjoy the views. The penthouse will go to auction on 20 August.
