The property at 2/65 Pender Street sold under the hammer for $655,000 through marketing pro and auctioneer Trish Orrico at Ray White Craigieburn.
"It has been a long road to get here and it has not quite sunk in yet - we’re just overwhelmed and incredibly excited," the happy buyers said.
“It was the exact style of property and exact location that we were looking for. We wanted an older unit rather than a new-build apartment.
“We also love the outside space of the courtyard and how central the unit is.”
Ms Orrico, pictured here, said there was massive confidence in the current Melbourne market.
"The negative speculation certainly isn't putting buyers off," she said.
