A new Ray White office opens its doors in the growing market of Riverwood.

After working in the local area for seven years, Adison Cao decided to become a business owner and join the Ray White family.

“I chose to join Ray White because of the strong brand and the strong community involvement associated with the brand. I understand the pressures of owning a business and Ray White provide support, technology and resources that you don’t get in any other agency,” Adison said.

Adison joined the real estate industry in 2008 after a personal experience buying a property and seeing a gap in the marketplace.

“Through my own experience I found that agents are largely focussed on the sale, where I think there is a whole process to consider. I like to take a consultancy approach to real estate and guide both sellers and buyers through their individual journey,” Adison explains.

Adison says the Riverwood market is stable and steadily gaining strength.

“The median house price is now $750,000, that’s an increase of $117,000 in the past 12 months alone. The market is definitely on an upwards trajectory.

“The Riverwood market is a pretty even split between investors and owner-occupiers with around 47 per cent of residents renting and 48 per cent owning their home.

“Riverwood is a young community with 71 per cent of residents under 55.”

For the Ray White Group, Adison is a welcome addition to the family.

“We welcome Adison to Ray White. He saw that his business was best aligned with our company and we are looking forward to seeing this new business grow and thrive,” says Stephen Nell, CEO Ray White NSW.

Over the past seven years, Adison has seen a lot of progress within the local community.

“Riverwood is a small town and in the past, the area was never as popular as the neighbouring suburb of Hurstville. We’re now starting to see a flow-on effect from the strength of the Hurstville market and more people now view Riverwood as a great community to live in,” Adison concludes.
