Experienced real estate agent Leah Quince has just opened her own Ray White office in the gold mining town of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Leah Quince has sold and managed many properties throughout Kalgoorlie Boulder over the past 12 years and more recently with the Ray White Kambalda office. Opening her own business seemed like the obvious next step in her real estate career.
“I’ve always loved being part of a strong brand that is family orientated, so when the opportunity of a new franchise became available, I knew it was now or never,” Mrs Quince said.
Mrs Quince has a wealth of experience in both sales and property management, and is looking forward to growing her business, starting with the development of a hardworking and reliable team.
“We, like Ray White, are a family business with myself and my daughter-in-law starting in the business. We’ll be focusing on recruiting a great team of like-minded people,” she said.
Kalgoorlie is known as the hub of the Western Australian goldfields and was considered the largest city in the Australian Outback.
Starting out as a gold rush town full of fortune seekers, it has now grown into a city with its own distinctive character.
“There’s so much history in Kalgoorlie and a population of over 30,000 people. Many people come to town for work, they start out renting and eventually end up buying. The town gets a hold of you as it did myself, who came for three years and have now been here 14,” she said.
Over the next 12 months, the main focus for Mrs Quince will be growing both sales and property management sides of the business, while serving the community with the best possible customer service.
“I want to offer the type of service people want. I’m a no frills kind of agent, I say it how it is and I always try to do the right thing by people,” she said.
“I want my customers to know that their rental or sales property is being looked after. My current and previous clients know I will go that extra mile for them,” Mrs Quince said.
Ray White Western Australia CEO Mark Whiteman congratulated Mrs Quince on opening her business in Kalgoorlie.
