RAY White Canberra has continued to be a leading light in online auction innovation as four more properties sold via auction campaigns for a combined value of over $3,500,000 this week.

The highlight was the $1,076,000 under the hammer sale of 10 Leighton Street (below) in Pearce, managed by Ray White Canberra Sales Director Alec Brown and Sales Consultant Kaine Walters, as they proved doom and gloom predictions were just forecasts.

Mr Brown (above), who also called both successful auctions, said the team were grasping the opportunity to be industry leaders in the ‘new normal’ world of online auctions.

“Property has been, and always will remain an essential service, and these four sales are a proof point of just how active and keen buyers in the capital are right now,” he said.

“Our office believes in auction as the method of sale in any climate as it’s the best way to build competition for our vendors and for us to achieve the highest price for them.

“As an auctioneer, I can tell you there’s real positivity among buyers right now. People who are finance-ready will always be active if a property matches their needs and wants.”

Also sold successfully under the hammer was 37/85 Crozier Circuit (below) in Kambah for $685,000 – 40 Arthur Blakeley Way in Coombs sold prior for $535,000 - and 33 Barada Crescent in Aranda also sold prior, for an undisclosed price.

Ray White Canberra Executive Director, Ben Faulks, said the sales were a testament to the wider team that had come together and adapted in such a short space of time.

“At the end of the day, our clients will always come first no matter what, so we’ll always play the cards we’ve been dealt to the best of our ability,” Mr Faulks said.

“The ‘new world’ of online auctions gives us the ability to deliver a seamless process while still having that critical emotional connection between all parties on auction day.

“These are tough times, but the team is doing an incredible job and as we can see from the continued success of auctions, buyers are most certainly looking to purchase property.”
