The largest property group in the state, Ray White Queensland, just announced a leadership change to spearhead its next phase of growth.

Incoming CEO Jason Andrew, an award-winning auctioneer who has successfully led the NSW network for close to four years years, is taking over the reins from industry stalwart Tony Warland who has worked for the property giant for more than 31 years.

Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said the restructure will position the Queensland group for continued growth.

Jason Andrew (pictured above) is looking forward to moving home to become Ray White Queensland CEO from mid-October 2020.

Tony Warland, who has been at the helm of Ray White Queensland for the past 12 years, will remain as a member of the Queensland board with the White family and commence a new role as Queensland North Director.

“Tony will continue to play a key role within the business. We retain his long standing institutional knowledge and relationships and he will continue to drive for further growth with us by focusing on the important markets from the Sunshine Coast right to the top of Queensland. This is an important region for us and this will allow us to provide deeper support to our members,” Mr White said.

Mr Warland (pictured) said a lot of people have recently asked him ‘what do I consider to be the greatest reward of my role and custodianship of Queensland’s largest real estate group after 12 years?’ “It’s a simple and easy answer. The authenticity and genuine values of the White family and how we align with each and every individual to help them achieve their ambitions that they desire. From a new member in any role to the absolute joy of seeing our emerging leaders achieve things that they first started dreaming about,” Mr Warland said.

Jason Andrew relocated to Sydney from Brisbane late in 2016, taking on the role of CEO of Sydney before becoming the co-CEO of Ray White New South Wales | ACT.

“He has been responsible for creating fantastic momentum for us, particularly in Sydney, with a new generation of business leaders now re-shaping our network. He has deep relationships throughout Queensland developed over many years after operating his own leading auction and training business and has a strong sense of the drivers of the Queensland agency market,” Mr White said.

Mr Andrew said he was so proud to leave the New South Wales network in such a strong position, after posting a record year in sales for the June 2020 financial year and a record market share. “It has been a privilege and a joy to help lead NSW during an exciting period of growth. The highlight has been the emergence of new leadership in the state. I am excited to get home with my family in Brisbane. I am a born and bred Queenslander and always wanted my boys to grow up in the Sunshine State.”

“Tony has positioned us remarkably well during his tenure as CEO of over the past 12 years. We are so appreciative of all that he has done for our company and we are incredibly excited to see the impact he will make in his new role.”

Andrew McCulloch will remain in the role of Ray White New South Wales CEO.
