BUYER demand remains firm as evidenced by some impressive numbers last weekend.

Last Saturday, Australasia’s largest real estate agency recorded 4.9 average registered bidders per auction along with a 64.7 per cent auction campaign clearance rate. Both numbers are up on this time last year indicating there is plenty of buyer activity to be found in the market.

With listings down many pre-approved buyers will again be returning this weekend to compete for the 130 properties listed for auction through Ray White.

Australia’s largest property market is shaking off the cold weather as spring selling season continues to bring in premium stock for the leading agency.

In Sydney’s inner city suburbs, Ray White Surry Hills | Alexandria | Glebe | Erskineville Associate Director Matthew Carvalho said first home buyers have been lining up to inspect 5/191-195 Bridge Rd, Glebe (pictured above).

“The lifestyle on offer has been popular with buyers. It’s full of sun and light and with the two level design it feels more like a townhouse than an apartment,” Mr Carvalho said.

The auction will be called by Ray White NSW CEO Jason Andrew. Mr Carvahlo added that feedback has been at the $1 million to $1.1 million mark.

The successful buyers may need to cool off at Bondi Beach after what is expected to be a hot auction 5/312 Bondi Rd.

The two bedroom apartment is being sold through Ray White Woollahra | Paddington Director of Sales Clay Brodie who said he has overseen roughly 100 inspections on the home.

“Buyers are interested in the beachside location but have also been really impressed by the scale and quality of the renovations the owners have done,” Mr Brodie said.

“We’re seeing interest almost squarely from young professionals and couples.”

The Bondi Road apartment has a price guide of $1,100,000 and the auction will also be conducted by NSW CEO Jason Andrew.

Ray White Petersham Director Nicholas Arena has also had a huge amount of interest on 38a Constitution Rd, Dulwich Hill (pictured above) after more than 120 groups inspected the four bedroom home. Mr Arena said he is confident of a great result this weekend.

Also in the afternoon, the Ray White Fairweather Group’s Brian Fairweather is looking forward to a great result at 11 Milham Crescent, Forestville. The four bedroom home offers a beautiful outlook to Garigal National Park on a popular street.

In Brisbane, the auction success is set to start early this weekend with the 10am auction of 47 Fisher St, East Brisbane through Ray White Bulimba Principal Scott Darwon.

“The campaign has been really good. So far, we’ve had about 60 groups through inspections,” Mr Darwon said.

‘It’s a quality, entry level home in a good location so it should sell well.”

Ray White New Farm Principal Haesley Cush will be conducting the auction.

Also set to sell is the three bedroom Bardon cottage at 73 Carey St (pictured above). Marketed by Ray White Paddington (QLD) Agents Judi O’Dea and Michael Kleimeyer, the property has attracted interest from across Brisbane.

Meanwhile in Adelaide, Ray White Glenelg | Plympton Project Sales Manager Jed Redden is quietly confident his strong auction campaign for 6A Haig St, Netherby (pictured above) will end in success after overseeing around 100 groups through the newly built property.

Mr Redden said the Netherby home, built by developers SEMBLE PROPERTY, has been popular with a range of buyers.

“The majority of buyers coming through have been downsizers with a mixture of upsizing families,” Mr Redden said.

“They love the attention to detail. Everything has been finished off well and there is a good flow through the property, especially with the colours that have been used."

Ray White Glenelg Agent and Auctioneer Rod Smitheram will be calling the 11am auction.
