AN expat couple living in Silicon Valley snapped up this immaculate Cape Cod inspired home at 16 Brighton Parade, Southport before it was scheduled to go to auction on Sunday.

Ray White Surfers Paradise prestige agent Jackson Paradise said the elegant six bedroom property received multiple offers prior and eventually sold for a “multi-million dollar sum” on Saturday night.

“The winning buyers actually flew out from San Francisco to see the property for themselves first hand. They fell in love with the house. They eventually plan to move back home from the US to the Gold Coast,” Mr Paradise said.

“I called this house one of the best kept secrets on the Gold Coast yet I ended up taking 182 groups through to inspect it. The owners had already bought elsewhere so the house definitely had to be sold.”

The latest deal comes on the back of Mr Paradise selling 34 Admiralty Drive, Paradise Waters on Friday - also ahead of its scheduled weekend auction - for $5.7M to local business people.

The immaculate five bedroom home had been on the market for almost a year with various agencies before Mr Paradise handled the sale after 52 inspections.

“There is no doubt that people don’t want to miss out on the property they want. These two properties are landmark homes and I can confidently say that the luxury buyers are back,” he said, who has more than 13 years experience in selling real estate on the Gold Coast.
