Four mothers to be at Ray White Glen Waverley were surprised with an office baby shower last Friday.
Maree Psiakis, Rebecca Lapish, Jenia Dimova and Abby Huang have all announced that they’ll be expecting a new family member.
Joy Eichorn, general manager of Ray White Glen Waverley and organiser of the event, says it was not only about wishing the expecting mothers well, but also about celebrating women in the workplace.
“We wanted our office to come together to celebrate this new chapter for Maree, Rebecca, Jenia and Abby and also recognise them and the impact they have on our office,” Joy said.
“We sent a surprise invitation to all staff members and we received enormous support from all departments.
“It was such a special occasion for us to celebrate - it’s quite rare to have four staff members all expecting babies at the same time!” she said.
The day was celebrated with personalised photo frames, and a morning tea with cupcakes, chocolate strawberries, macaroons, gift bags and hampers.
“It was a fantastic day for everyone involved and a lovely surprise for our mums,” Joy said.
Rebecca Lapish, one of the expecting mothers, says it was a very special occasion and one they’ll remember.
"We were all completely thrilled and amazed at all of the effort that was put in and for our very generous gifts.
“A special mention and thank you to our directors, Damian, Andrew and Peter and of course to Joy, for organizing the event. The office has set a very high standard for our future mums to be!”
