Chinese Australians are having an influence on development design, with the chinese symbol for good luck and opportunity showcased in gold on the façade of a new property development in Doncaster East.
Ray White Manningham’s Samantha Marsh said the developers, Adepto Corporation, designed the digital mosaic in consultation with Manningham City Council to reflect the growing multicultural diversity in Doncaster East.
“The Australian Bureau of Statistics found 36.5 per cent of Manningham residents were born overseas with 7.9 per cent of households speaking Cantonese at home and 6.2 per cent Mandarin,” says Miss Marsh.
“Adepto wanted to create something with significance to the area. They did some research and found that the Chinese culture in the region is particularly strong.
“Everything about the design - from the finishings to the colour palate to the rooftop garden - has been carefully selected to reflect homage to Doncaster East’s rural past whilst incorporating new touches that translate to the continual change of culture the area is undergoing.”
According to Australian-based Chinese language real estate website ACproperty.com.au, Doncaster is identified as the second most searched suburb in Victoria behind Melbourne CBD.
Prosperity Place offers buyers a higher quality build compared to existing apartments in the area.
“The quality coupled with the original design sets the development apart from anything else I’ve seen in the area,” says Miss Marsh.
One and two bedroom apartments in Prosperity Place are available to buy off the plan at the end of February, with prices ranging from $360,000 to $639,000.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to buy into a unique and high quality building. The Doncaster shopping precinct is nearby and public transport is on your doorstep.
“There is nothing like it on the market and once commenced, construction will be completed within 16 months.”
Adepto Corporation was founded in 2007 by the Tricarico and Orlando families.
“Adepto was established after many years of hard work. The founders have almost 40 years of combined experience in both the construction and real estate industries,” Miss Marsh concludes.
