Affordable units unveiled by housing minister
Under the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS), the federal government has delivered 10,000 affordable rental homes for those who are in a low or middle bracket of income.

Federal minister for housing and homelessness Brendan O'Connor spoke about the future of disadvantage people as he opened 27 new apartments in Melbourne's west with the NRAS in conjunction with the Common Equity Housing Limited.
"This government has responded with $20 billion worth of measures to help people with homeownership and more affordable rental housing.
"Working in partnership with the States and Territories, NRAS will deliver 50,000 new more affordable rental homes across the country," he said.
As a result of the scheme, tenants are saving nearly $4,500 per year.
It comes as Ray White director Dan White shares, his opinions on how technology has shaped the art of being a real estate agent with the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales.
Technology has affected communication, allowing agents to more easily interact with their clients through email, video chat and text message, as well as more traditional channels.
It has also made the market more professional as agents now have to know as much as clients who have so much accessible information through the internet.
Cloud technology has also provide a catalyst for portability as agents can now do things from their car or from remote locations while in regional and rural areas that previously they had to do so from behind a desk.
