Melissa grew up nearby on her family farm in Frances. She completed her senior schooling in Bordertown in 2005 and then ventured to Adelaide to complete her Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality Management. After returning to Bordertown in 2008 she took on varying roles before beginning her real estate career in 2013.
