The Ray White Kohimarama and St Heliers offices have been owned by Ray White foundation member Peter Best since the early 90s. Over that time, the businesses built up an incredibly loyal following and are considered market leaders in the Auckland eastern bays. In 2018, after 27 years of ownership, Peter sold his residential sales offices in Kohimarama and St Heliers to the neighbouring Mission Bay office.
The property management and rentals division of the business remains with Peter, trading as Ray White Best Property Management, and is now located in high-profile, stand-alone premises in the heart of St Heliers Bay village.
Over the term of his ownership, Peter has used his strong background in customer service and leadership to provide customers and his team with his local expertise and knowledge. Peter has acted with integrity and honesty and has always aligned with Ray White's strong family values. He is highly personable and recognizes that real estate is about people. He values keeping in touch with everyone.
Peter entered real estate in 1987 with Beltons United Real Estate (the forerunner of Ray White in NZ) and hasn’t looked back since. He enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren, travelling and gardening.
Peter works closely with his Manager / Equity Partner, Tamara Willis, and their team of experienced property managers, who serve their loyal client base. Ray White and industry colleagues also call upon Peter’s real estate compliance knowledge.
