The strategic move brings together two of the region's most respected names, creating a unified, full-service network across Dubbo, Wellington, Warren, and Nyngan.

The connection between the two businesses runs far deeper than a standard corporate transaction, rooted in decades of local history and genuine mateship.

Decades ago, Richardson & Sinclair co-founder Paul Sinclair and the Plasto family started their respective journeys in Dubbo as close friends.

Years later, that bond continued with Paul’s son, Scott Sinclair, and Plasto & Company owner, Ross Plasto.

When Richardson & Sinclair recently opened its new Wellington office, a natural conversation about the future began. Ross was looking for a seamless succession plan that would protect his team, while Richardson & Sinclair was looking to grow.

Ray White Richardson & Sinclair director Justin Sanderson said ensuring the right fit for the close-knit team was the absolute priority.

“It was important for Ross that his business went to someone who was going to look after his staff and to someone with the same family-oriented values,” Justin said.

“We are entirely like-minded when it comes to those old family values.”

With this transition, the leadership team wants to clearly outline the details of the acquisition to ensure absolute clarity for clients and the local community.

Ross is staying on with the business, remaining fully on board to manage his staff and support his long-term clients just as he always has.

Similarly, rural property sales expert Frank Power continues in his position, driving sales alongside Macy Everingham in property management and residential sales.

Ray White Richardson & Sinclair has taken on the property management rent roll and welcomed all five of Ross’s staff members into the family.

While the two physical offices in Wellington will eventually combine into one big team, day-to-day operations remain completely seamless.

The acquisition also brings some major wins for the region's property and livestock sectors, including the addition of Gary Francis to the group.

As a Chairman's Club Life Member and previous winner of the Top Salesperson NSW & ACT award, Gary brings elite expertise to the team and will continue to service his loyal client base under the Ray White banner.

On the land, the move significantly strengthens the team’s presence at the Dubbo saleyards.

Ross’s established livestock business will merge with Richardson & Sinclair’s existing operations, now backed by the marketing muscle and reach of Australia’s largest regional network, the Ray White Rural group.

Established in 1967, Richardson & Sinclair has prided itself on being a dynamic, second-generation agency that balances a modern approach to real estate with traditional values.

The Richardson & Sinclair leadership team said welcoming the new members was a proud moment for the business.

“It’s an exciting new acquisition for us highlighting the growth in our business in the last few years,” Justin said.

“It's great to have Ross and all his staff on board to have been good friends in business, and it's an honour to have them within our core group.”

Matt White, CEO of Ray White Rural and Livestock, said; "I am incredibly excited about the growth of the Ray White Rural Wellington business. Scott Sinclair & Justin Sanderson are two of the most ambitious leaders within our group and we are thrilled to see them combine strengths with established local real estate identities, Ross Plasto and Gary Francis. This merger will elevate the trajectory of the Ray White Richardson & Sinclair business and see them become one of regional NSW's most significant, property and livestock businesses. “
