A 12 bedroom Victorian Federation home in North Sydney named ‘Dalzell’ has sold at auction with an unexpected result of $3.56million.
Ray White Lower North Shore selling agent Helen Noble said that both the vendors and the buyers were extremely happy with the result.
The vendor’s expectations for the sale were in the lower $2million range.
According to Helen, the property drew in a total of 208 inspections, with 18 registered bidders on auction day.
“There were a strong mix of buyers that showed interest in this property, including investors and builders, home buyers and boarding house owners,” she said.
“All potential buyers were interested in the location, size, heritage character and zoning of the property, which gives them the potential to utilise the property for various uses.”
The successful purchasers wished to remain anonymous, but were a local North Shore couple. They remain undecided on their final plans for the property.
The community and charity focused sellers are extremely happy with the outcome, as they intend to further extend their charity work.
