Australia's largest property group, Ray White Group, this week has 358 auctions scheduled, with 202 of those occurring this Saturday August 24 across Australasia.

Kicking off in NSW and Ray White Castle Hill’s Chiltern Crescent (pictured above) is looking to be lively at 10am when No. 27 goes under the hammer.

Agent Joel Simpson has had 150 groups through during opens and is quietly (well, actually not all that quietly!) confident of 15 or 16 bidders on the day.

The attraction is the big internal space, with five bedrooms and lots of living spaces - and a pool. With that many people expected, the big spaces will come in handy.

The guide is between $1.4 million - $1.45 million.

Ray White Parramatta agent Broderick Wright is auctioning an original 1960s house, being sold by the original buyer - which means a huge block of land as well as the sweet house.

Mr Wright says of the 60 groups through 10 Yeramba Place, Rydalmere (pictured above), there’s an equal split between first house buyers and developers who are eyeing the 803sqm block as a good investment.

The guide is $1 million for the property which goes under the hammer at 11am.

Director of Ray White Summer Hill Lisa Polsek says she is seeing the greatest amount activity in her zone for the last three years.

She has seen 92 groups through 8/65-67 Kensington Road Summer Hill (pictured above) and has so far issued 23 contracts.

In original but well kept condition, potential buyers have come from all sectors from downsizers to investors. Interestingly, she also has the sense that people have been spooked by tales of faulty apartment blocks and have sort haven in the older style low rise.

Two bedrooms and one car space, the hammer goes up in the morning at 10am.

Victoria is equally excited this week. If you want a crowd scene put a renovated, spacious, art deco property on the market. Set on a tree lined boulevard is apartment 1 at 5 Goldsmith St, Elwood has seen over 230 inspections in the three week campaign, with Ray White Southbank director Andrew Salvo issuing 40 contracts.

“Art deco buildings hold a huge amount of charm, and this property has so many additional benefits including 250sqm interior space, and then two private courtyards. All the renovation work was done in 2005, so all infrastructure work has been completed. It will be a tremendous auction,” Mr Salvo said.

The agency is quoting a guide of between $850,000-920,000 with the auction starting on Saturday at 11am.

Ray White Ferntree Gully has been flooded with interest this month, with 150 groups inspecting 11 Parkview Drive, Ferntree Gully (pictured above) - with 15 coming back for seconds.

It’s an ideal first-home-buyer weatherboard, with cute street appeal, three beds and one bath.

Top sales agent Ben Thomas is already fielding offers and is confident of a good turnout at 10am.

An hour later the same agency is expecting 9 Trefoil St to be a hot bed of bids as well.

Hugh Francis of Ray White Forest Hill is also expecting good numbers on Saturday at 4 Scoble Court, Vermont (pictured above).

Three beds, one bath and space for a few cars, the house is not a cookie cutter creation and has attracted 65 inspections which have resulted in five bidders locked for the 2.30pm auction.

In Glenelg and a firm favourite for top honours, this weekend goes to the outstanding 13 Lapthorne Street. (pictured above in all its glory) According to Ray White Unley director Blake Scholz the property has been featured in several articles and remains in the ‘most viewed’ category for the area online.

“We’ve had 200 groups through during inspections - we had 94 groups through in day one of opens,” Mr Scholz said.

A complete, scrupulous and super cool renovation has resulted in a home that really deserves all the attention it has received.

Don’t believe me? Click on the link and check out the 3.1 metre ceiling height, polished walls, parquetry …. Well, go have a look.

How do they pack so much glam in such a subtle space? Just ask the 50 plus folks who have inspected 2/28 Evandale Cres Miami, Gold Coast.

Ray White Broadbeach agent Brad Payne says there is very little stock available, then add to it that this gorgeous villa has three bedrooms, a ridiculously spacious open plan living area that opens to, wait for it, a private pool.

A very tasty offering indeed. Bidders will be taking the plunge from midday.

The same agency has a luxury waterside house up on Saturday as well - 104 Gibraltar Drive, Isle of Capri. Eye candy.

There are before and after photos available of this one as the owners are particularly proud of their extensive renovation completed just before sale.

Once pre-war and now chic contemporary 15 Boundary Rd, Bardon is broadly appealing.

Ray White Toowong’s Andrew Van Bennekom reports a lot of interest online as well as 50 groups through the door.

All the heavy lifting is done, right down to the new picket fence, all they have to do now is find the buyer. The auction is set for action from 11.30am

And here is a stunner in the Bay of Plenty. A large family home, with open green outlook, is on the auction block Saturday. No.52 Cotswold Place, Ohauiti Bay (pictured above) has four big bedrooms and tons of light on both floors.

The garden block is a knockout 964sqm, so there’s space to park the boat in between trips to the very close the waterways and Tauranga which has a very handy airport.

Ashley Spiller from Ray White Papamoa reports the vendors have plans locked in so there’ll be pressure for a sale. The auction will take place at 2pm.
