Under the hammer this weekend

A bit out of type for the area, 56 Benkel Avenue (pictured above) has managed to attract 25 groups in just two opens.

Sales auctioneer Kevin Choksi of Ray White Cheltenham is happy with how the numbers are stacking up, citing the house location, on an ideal 530sq m corner block with two-sided access as big drawcards.

But don’t discount the attraction of the outside area, which surrounds the four-bedroom home, with an outdoor covered deck of over 35sq m.

Across in Alberton, and the most charming blue stone home is up for auction at 11.30am.

Ray White Port Adelaide's Nick Psarros has had steady interest, with 60 groups coming through at the opens.

The home has been lovingly restored and updated, with four bedrooms a great kitchen, and a manicured garden.

If you are a sucker for high ceilings, 6 Angas Street (pictured above) will win you over.

The Ray White New Farm agency has two very interesting auctions on Saturday.

One is the chance to get your foot in the New Farm market door at 26 Terrace Street.

A modest cottage in a very good area, with some lovely touches about it, including a sweet front porch.

The contact on this one is Ray White New Farm 's Scott Darwon, and the auction of this two-bedder is scheduled for 10.00am.

And at 1.00pm, 54 Goodwin Terrace in Moorooka (pictured above), goes under the hammer - and it is a bird of an entirely different feather.

High set with dramatic open views and oodles of space, the seamless blending of indoor kitchen to outdoor kitchen is an absolute charmer, as is the window seat in the master bedroom.

The opens have been busy with 61 groups inspecting , and at least four bidders are expected at the afternoon auction.
