RAY WHITE GROUP has more than 135 auctions scheduled across Australasia this Saturday, with numbers lower than normal as most states enjoy the Queen's Birthday long weekend.

But there is much to look out for, including a time capsule property in Brisbane.

It was a time of Eames chairs and the Brady Bunch, conservative politics gave way to bright orange flower decals, and the world swayed to Peter Paul and Mary, while at 50 Bromar Streetat The Gap (pictured above), a perfect mid-century home became a reality.

On the market for the first time since it’s construction, is a home that is making devotees of the architectural style swoon, and arrive in droves for a good look while they can.

“We’ve had 250 individuals, so not counting returning inspectors, who have come to see this wonderful property. That’s the highest number we have ever seen,” said Ray White The Gap agent James Monaghan.

The reasons become clear as soon as you walk up the driveway and take in the clean, straight lines that define an era. Not one person, devotee or potential purchaser could be disappointed as they walk through the door and take in the text book 60’s design.

The property comes with architectural blue-ribbon credentials, having been designed by award-winning architect and mid-century maestro Donald Spencer.

“The design takes inspiration from American architecture and blends in a touch of the orient to create a home with a level of style, sophistication, and fantastic potential rarely found within our marketplace,” said Mr Monaghan.

The two-bedroom home is being auctioned at 11am this weekend. With such remarkable interest, and very high bidder registration, it is sure to be a highlight of the weekend.

There’s more Brisbane character, but from a different era, up for auction at 1.00pm at Camp Hill.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 81 Lloyd Street (pictured above) is spread across two levels.

“There's potential here for dual occupancy, with very little spend required,” said Ray White Coorparoo agent Mel Christie. “Which, when combined with the superb views out to Mt Cootha, explains why interest has been so high.”

She is expecting a good turn out as the property has proved popular during the campaign with both investors and families.

The property offers spacious and fully fenced garden spaces, and plenty of parking.

To VICTORIA and agent Jeremy Tyrell from Ray White Box Hill has had a lot of pre-auction interest in a Mont Albert property that is appealing to families and as he put it "early downsizers, still in their prime."

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom split-level home is part of a community comprised of five townhouses, set on landscaped gardens.

The home at 2/41 Orchard Crescent (pictured above) is set on an unusually shaped block, that includes a wrap-around entertainer's courtyard plus space in a separate shed for hobbyists, and a garage with the lovely touch of French doors out to the courtyard.

Jeremy says the owner has gone into care, so the home is sure to be be sold, with a guide of between $700,000 and $770,000.

"We've had good interest here and we have four very interested parties that I'm expecting to actively bid," he said.

The auction is set to commence at 1.00pm.

To SOUTH AUSTRALIA now and what has been described as a Tuscan salute to perfection, 28 Ironbark Avenue in Flagstaff Hill (pictured above) has attracted inspections from people keen to experience a rich, European-flavoured lifestyle.

According to Ray White Flagstaff Hill agent Michael Love "It is an undiscovered gem and it'll put the discerning bidders in a box seat to get an amazing property."

Set across several levels, the house spills onto the undercover terrace with pastoral views over the breathtaking Sturt Gorge.

"That's the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail," says Michael who believes the property would be ideal for the executive couple, or established families with the half-hour drive to Adelaide making the home easily commutable.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, and with high-end interior features such as ducted heating and cooling, full security with video links, ducted vaccum and of course, a carpeted carport.

The guide for Ironbark Avenue is just $770,000 and the auction is due to commence at 10am.

In SYDNEY’s south and Ray White Elizabeth Bay agent Nick Chalipilias is looking forward to a good turn out for his renovators delight apartment in Hillsdale.

The boutique block at 29 Jauncey Place (pictured above) has just six apartments, with No.3 being on the second floor offering treelined street views from the balcony.

“We’ve got a guide of $620,000,” said Mr Chalipilias. “It has three bedrooms and is just five minutes to the beaches, so it does have a lot to offer.”

It also sits in a popular spot with Heffron Park and Southpoint shopping centre an easy walk away.

According to Mr Chalipilias, renovators have shown a lot of interest, as the property is ripe for upgrading. The auction kicks off onsite at 3.00pm.
