Staying in Melbourne where Ray White Cheltenham’s Kevin Chokshi is auctioning off a "house-sized" unit at 1/13 Latrobe St, Cheltenham (above) with a price guide of $800,000 to $880,000.
The deceased estate, which is going under the hammer at 10.30am, has two courtyards and a double remote garage with internal access.
“It’s single level with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double garage which is not common in units,” Mr Chokshi said.
“The area is quiet, private and Latrobe Street is on the border of Cheltenham and Mentone so you get the best of both worlds.” |

In Brisbane is a home (above) going to auction at 1pm (AEST) which has been held by the same family since the early 1960s.
The three bedroom post-war house on a flat 506sq m block of land with city views is being marketed by Ray White Coorparoo’s Mel Christie.
“There’s a whole range of buyers looking at this one including investors, first home buyers, and people especially wanting to get into the location,” Ms Christie said of 10 Lloyd St, Camp Hill.
“Lloyd Street, I think, is one of the best streets in Camp Hill. It’s in a nice pocket bordering Norman Park. The views are pretty special too as standing on the grass in the backyard you can see straight through to the city buildings. It’s a post-war house so it can be knocked down and the buyer can build a new home.” |

Across the river in Auchenflower at 10am, is the auction of a beautiful four bedroom contemporary home at 16 Thomas St (above) through Ray White Paddington elite agent Judi O’Dea.
Two weeks after Travis Watson and his wife Christine moved into their dream home in late 2016, they found out they were pregnant with twins.
“We searched for a long time to find our home, so it is with a heavy heart that we are leaving but I grew up on the Sunshine Coast and an opportunity came up at work to move there so we are off,” said Mr Watson, who is the Queensland manager for a national wine wholesaler.
“There has been plenty of Louis Roederer Cristal poured on the deck that’s for sure.”
Mr Watson said the house had “an enormous big downstairs area and we have always been able to fit everyone in really easily. There’s a living or rumpus room which heads into the back covered deck onto the grass”.
“It’s truly set up for Queensland living with inside and outside living,” he said.
Ms O’Dea said the two-level Queenslander on a 508sq m block was on “arguably Auchenflower’s best street”.
“The house has been designed to cater for our modern way of life with a generous floor plan that perfectly blends traditional charm with contemporary style,” she said.
“This contemporary family home offers living options that are extremely rare.” |

In Adelaide, around $380,000 could secure you a three bedroom house with studio by the beach.
Ray White Unley’s David Renfrey is managing the 10.30am (ACDT) auction of 13 Olive St, Largs Bay (above).
“It’s one of those areas which is a bit unknown and untouched,” Mr Renfrey said.
“It’s been a very popular property with over 70 groups through. We’re seeing a lot of first home buyers because it represents great value, and we’re also seeing a number of renovators keen to get in and add value, or people looking for a second home who might want to renovate.”
Mr Renfrey said Largs Bay was a tightly held suburb flying under the radar.
“It’s a big of a sleeper in and around that area but with its proximity to the beach, and being close to everything happening in Port Adelaide, we expect good growth.” |

At 1.30pm, in Adelaide’s Melrose Park, Ray White Unley’s Joe Marriott is taking a recently renovated four bedroom home (above) to auction.
“We’ve had a big demographic of people look at the home, but it’s mostly been comprised of young families,” Mr Marriott said.
“The sellers bought the property last year, renovated it and made it look beautiful and it suits a lot of people.”
The residence at 1 Swift Ave has a listed price guide of $625,000.
“It was a 1920s bungalow-style home in original condition but the sellers have even changed the floorplan to suit buyers in this market,” Mr Marriott said.
“We’ve had well over 100 groups through.” |
