While we all have a little extra time on our hands, reaching for one of these books is a surefire way to bust your boredom and kickstart a fresh new outlook on the tumultuous year that has been 2020.

"I listen to lots of audio books while I am driving. I have been big on biographies lately including Phil Knight (Creator of Nike), Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos (The Store that has everything).

One of the books which I loved listening to was by Grant Cardone called 10x. The reason I love it is because of its simple approach to business in that the more output we have the greater our results will be. More marketing, more calls, more promotion = more results."

Read it: Robin Sharma - The 5am Club

"I listen to Robin Sharma podcasts a lot... he believes in kindness, compassion and caring for people. And I'm a BIG believer in that! I also recommend The 5am club, a great book. It will enable you to own your morning and elevate your life."

Read it: James Kerr - Legacy

"As a proud Wallabies fan, it's hard to listen to an audio book about the success of the All Blacks. However, I'm currently listening to Legacy: 15 Lessons in Leadership by James Kerr for the third time, there has to be a few things to take from a team with an 80%+ winning percentage in the professional era."

5. Christine Rudolph, Ray White New Farm

Read it: Mel Robbins - The 5 Second Rule

"Transform your work, life and confidence with everyday courage. This book was a life changer. As a result of this book, I now wake at the same time every day, have quit procrastination and taken up running/exercise every day. I also listen to her podcasts regularly.

My current read is - James Clear; Atomic Habits. So far, it is a great read."

4. Scott Stephens, Ray White Commercial Sydney North

Read it: Napoleon Hill - Succeed and Grow Rich Through Persuasion

"My grandfather was a real estate agent and developer and when I first started my real estate career about 30 years ago he gave me a book called Succeed and Grow Rich Through Persuasion by Napoleon Hill.

I read it cover to cover and still to this day I use the principles outlined in the book. For me it is a must-read to be successful in real estate. I still have it on my bookshelf and every few months pick it up and read a chapter just to keep me focused."
