Time for a change at the top of their game
Belle Property Carina principal Andrew McSweeny propelled his office to number one in Queensland in only five years but says now is the right time to join the Ray White family.
“There is certainly no hard feelings towards Belle from my perspective,” Mr McSweeny said, who has more than 22 years experience in real estate. I’m so proud of my team and what we have achieved. I have worked in the Carina area for my whole career and it has been a good journey,” he said.
Mr McSweeny started in real estate at the tender age of 19 and he says he feels “so lucky to work in Carina, it’s like a hidden gem”.
Mr McSweeny said he was attracted to Ray White for its family-owned environment and “distinct structure and plan for the future”.
“The real estate industry has morphed into a faster and different place than it was a few years ago and we need the internal office infrastructure that Ray White can offer.”
Mr McSweeny has a team of 21 right now in his office but he’s on the hunt for at least three more sales agents.
Ray White director Dan White, the fourth generation of the 115-year White Family owned business, said he felt blessed to attract such a high-calibre agency to the group.
“This rebrand is a long-term strategic step for our Queensland business under the leadership of CEO Tony Warland, which keeps moving from strength to strength,” Mr White said. “This promises to be a beneficial partnership for both Andrew and his team, as well as the Ray White Group."
“The real estate industry has undergone a huge structural shift in the way people transact property and we are seeing more and more consumers gravitate to us, like never before.”
Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland said he was proud that Belle Carina had chosen to align itself with Ray White as they shared many of the same values.
“Where else do you go when you are at the top of your game? We are incredibly proud that Belle Carina will come to us to enhance their offering for their agents, their community and their homeowners,” Mr Warland said.
“When the number one office in another group comes to the number one agency in the state, we feel blessed. It’s at the heart of our company to help businesses grow and expand."
"After five successful years at Belle, we welcome Andrew and his team and we look forward to working with them in the near future.”
The new Ray White Carina office opens on 1 July.
The Belle Carina news comes a day after the top LJ Hooker business in NSW joined the Ray White Group.
LJ Hooker Mosman has now rebranded as Ray White Lower North Shore, which is a significant compliment to Ray White that it continues to attract such high calibre businesses to its stable.
