NOVEMBER is coming up quickly which means many buyers and sellers are in a rush to finish their Christmas property shopping.

There are still only four days left of the month but already new listing authorities sit 13 per cent higher than the start of the month, while the number of scheduled auctions for Ray White is just shy of 3,000 with 2,976 booked across the country.Average registered bidder numbers remain steady at 7.5, while 3.9 buyers on average have actively bid. This month’s clearance rate currently hovers around 79 per cent, however, there are another 717 auctions scheduled before the end of October, 355 of which are booked for Saturday.The average gap between the highest offer prior to auction and the sale price sits at 12.48 per cent in October - an increase on September’s average of 12 per cent.Melbourne is also set to come out of the month as Australia’s auction capital, where Ray White booked 802 auctions.
