A highly experienced real estate professional and no stranger to Ray White, Colin Walsh has rebranded his successful business to the leading group once again.

Mr Walsh and his high-skilled property sales and property management professionals bring their expertise back to the group as Ray White Inner Brisbane Apartments.

Five years ago, Mr Walsh opened his real estate office achieving high market share results in the Brisbane CBD with a rent roll of more than 550 properties.

“Ray White is the pioneer of real estate in Queensland, hence why we have chosen the brand to elevate our processes and practices even further,” Mr Walsh said.

With a background in finance working for major banking corporations, Mr Walsh changed careers to real estate 14 years ago moving to Ray White as a sales agent.

“I am thrilled to be part of the family again for its training, support and corporate structure. No other brand can give this level of support, and it’s immeasurable to myself as a business owner,” Mr Walsh said.

Mr Walsh puts the success of his business down to his high-skilled team, who have joined him in the transition to Australia’s largest real estate brand.

“My wife Kirsten who has worked with me for the past eight years, is one of the leading Brisbane CBD agents; she has about 15 per cent sales market share herself in the inner Brisbane apartment market,” Mr Walsh said.

Alongside Kirsten Walsh is Mandarin-spreaking agent Kai Lui, who also boasts huge market share plus Tim Bossard who supports Colin particularly in the city fringe areas.

“I believe credibility is the key element of our success; you cannot grow a business to such high market share as ours and with 550 managements within five years without credibility, expertise and unrivalled local knowledge,” Mr Walsh said.

Inner Brisbane is one of the most rapidly growing regions in Australia, with over 9,000 residential apartments in the CBD alone, and approximately 70 per cent of these owned by investors.

“There is a fantastic opportunity at the moment to be able to purchase an affordable property in an eastern seaboard capability city with fantastic growth potential,”

“There is about $28 billion worth of infrastructure in the Brisbane city area underway at the moment, which is the most investment in a city in Australia's history,” Mr Walsh said.

Brisbane is forecast to have major job growth off the back of these developments, with a large migration of people moving into the inner city to work on all of these projects.

The Brisbane City Council projects 60,000 to 70,000 people per year will move into the inner city to work on the infrastructure projects underway.

The Walshs love the lifestyle that comes with inner-city Brisbane. “The entertainment precinct around the city is magic; Howard Smith Wharves is fantastic, the soon-to-be-refurbished Eagle Street Pier, the upcoming Queens Wharf - they are also changing the whole river and boardwalk facade,” Mr Walsh said.

The main goal for the business was to increase their business processes, and continue to build upon their reputation as the go-to for inner Brisbane apartments.

“I am looking forward to providing my team with a better work environment, because of the amazing support that Ray White offers. We are looking forward to recording even better sales figures, more rentals and a higher level of service, as a result of a more efficient and productive workplace under the Ray White brand,” Mr Walsh said.

Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland warmly welcomed the team into the family.

“We are incredibly proud that Colin and Kirsten are now operating as Ray White Inner Brisbane Apartments, and we are absolutely thrilled to have them on board,” Mr Warland said.

“Colin and his team are well established in their core market and the Ray White community is always welcoming of energic, ambitious leaders and we are proud to have so many in the industry. I personally am very excited to see what he and his team will achieve for the Inner Brisbane community to complement the wonderful work that has already been done by so many Ray White members,”

“The entire team brings genuine expertise and local knowledge to their market, and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to provide the best possible service to their customers.”
