BACKED by Australasia’s largest real estate agency, the O’Briens are set to make a splash with the new Ray White Aura office on the Sunshine Coast.
With a combined five decades of real estate experience, husband and wife team Paul and Jo O’Brien along with their daughter Jamie O’Brien have once again partnered with the biggest family name in real estate, Ray White. The O’Briens owned Ray White Beerwah for 11 years before stepping back in 2020 but are now back in the game with their daughter. Real estate is in the DNA for daughter Jamie O’Brien who began in the industry in her teens, working in her parent’s office.Mr O’Brien said they chose Aura because the newly created Sunshine Coast city has seen some enormous growth since being developed five years ago.“A big part of the market are treechangers attracted to the lifestyle the Sunshine Coast has to offer and it’s a very family orientated community," Mr O'Brien said.“We are here for the local families because we’re a family business as well. We are experienced and knowledgeable but Jamie being in the sales role will give us an innovative edge.”The O’Briens said they were particularly drawn to Ray White more than 10 years ago because of the culture and reputation of the group.“Ray White is a name that brings people in the door, it’s trusted and recognisable,” Ms O’Brien said.“They know that our success is their success so they invest in their people which ultimately helps us put our clients at the centre of everything we do.“Our business is a family business - we even think of our staff as family - and so is Ray White, this culture really resonated with us as well.”Ms Jamie O’Brien will be taking a leading role in the sales side of the business alongside her father and said they have set themselves some ambitious goals that they are more than equal to achieving.“We hope to make Ray White Aura as much of a success as Ray White Beerwah with a commanding market share while also servicing our clients to the highest possible standards,” she said.
