A team of real estate and property management professionals have joined forces to make their real estate dream a reality, in Brisbane’s rapidly developing outer south-western suburb of Forest Lake.

Nick Chen, Johnny Chen, Tony Liu and Simon Zhao together have a diverse resume of local knowledge in apartment and house sales, property management, maintenance and services, and management right sales.

The group will be taking on ownership of the existing Ray White Forest Lake office from Thanh and Alanna Ngo who have built the business into a leading agency in the area over the past 10 years.

“Our journey to buying Ray White Forest Lake started from our desire to all work together and partner with the leading real estate group in Australasia,” Mr Nick Chen said.

“We have all worked together in various capacities over the years, and believe we have the diverse skill set and passion required to really elevate the real estate offering in this region which we know and love.”

Mr Lui said that the group already had the local area knowledge and industry experience downpat, but knew they needed a strategic partner to bring their dream to fruition.

“The technology offering from Ray White was a huge drawcard, as well as the obvious brand recognition and trust,” he said.

Nick Chen, who will be the licensee in charge of the business, has nearly 10 years of experience working across commercial and residential sales, as well as management rights sales.

“I have a great relationship with all the agents in this area, and have worked and lived here for many years so am very connected to the local community, particularly the growing Chinese community,” Mr Chen said.

Tony Liu’s experience is in property management, having managed large residential complexes across Brisbane.

Johnny Chen came to Australia 20 years ago, and worked in the IT, development and distribution sector for many years, before deciding to pursue his passion of real estate.

Simon Zhao, who will act in an operations and marketing capacity in the business, has management rights sales experience, as well as running a successful property services company which offers landscaping, handyman and maintenance services.

“Having access to a full service maintenance company will be a big advantage for us; we want to make the processes easy and straightforward for our valued landlords,” Mr Zhao said.

The suburb of Forest Lake is known for its diverse and eclectic mix of cultures, making it a popular choice for families at all stages of life.

“It is one of the biggest suburbs in Brisbane, all centered around the lake and with every convenience at your doorstep; fantastic schools, shopping centres, and speciality supermarkets,” Mr Liu said.

“We believe that there is potential for great growth here in the coming years, and we would like to achieve strong market share of the real estate transactions in this region.”

Alongside the four directors, an existing team of 10 property management, sales and marketing professionals will continue to elevate the current service offering.

“Our goal is to grow a strong sales team to nurture this community, so we will be looking at recruiting more excellent professionals,” Mr Johnny Chen said.

“We will also focus on building the best rent roll in the region, and strive for complete customer satisfaction in property management,” he said.

“We can’t wait to see what Forest Lake has to offer, over the next 12 months and beyond.”

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew welcomed the new team to the family.

“The new team of dedicated leaders at our Forest Lake office are a natural fit for the company,” Mr Andrew said.

“We’re delighted to have another group of excellent individuals joining the family and look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow,”

“We thank Thanh and Alanna Ngo, who have achieved such fantastic results for Forest Lake over the past 10 years, and we look forward to seeing them carry on as excellent operators within our group,” he said.
