Experienced business leaders James and Sally Croft alongside James Arthur and Alison Jones, have taken the reins at Ray White Rural Stanthorpe, marking a significant milestone in the continued expansion of their high-performing Southern, Western and Darling Downs network.

The move represents a strategic and natural progression for the group, who have been servicing the Stanthorpe region for some time. Strong recent sales activity, including standout results from Alison Jones, highlighted the opportunity to strengthen their footprint and formally expand into the market.

“The local market was strongly signalling for us to come to Stanthorpe, so this was a natural growth progression for us”.

“We were already servicing the area. It's a huge opportunity to shake up the independent landscape and further cement our presence across the Southern Downs, bridging the gap between Stanthorpe and the northern NSW border,” Sally said.

The business has been acquired from respected local operator Julie Clark of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, with the group committed to building on the strong foundations already in place for landlords, vendors and buyers.

The existing property management portfolio provides a solid platform for growth, with plans to elevate the offering the ‘Ray White Rural Way’, backed by corporate leadership, industry-leading systems and a culture built on performance and collaboration.

Growth remains a clear priority. Shareholder Ray White Rural Warwick, Alison Jones has been appointed Operations Manager of Stanthorpe, as she continues to be a prominent sales agent across Warwick and Stanthorpe. Guy Sellick steps in as the new face of Rural Sales in Stanthorpe, servicing the rural region as far as Tenterfield NSW.

“I am excited to be supported with the continued leadership opportunities and am looking forward to bringing my local knowledge, experience and proven success to the Stanthorpe team”, Alison said.

Sally Croft, General Manager Ray White Rural Pittsworth | Warwick | Dalby | Chinchilla | Stanthorpe, reflected on the broader journey of the business.

“These are exciting times in the growth of our group. Since building the business from 2015, my greatest enjoyment has been growing a team of local people and giving them the opportunity to excel”.

“Expanding into Stanthorpe allows us to continue that commitment”, Sally said.

Director Ray White Rural Pittsworth | Warwick | Dalby | Chinchilla | Stanthorpe, James Croft acknowledged the importance of network support in achieving this milestone.

“Expansion at this level is only possible with strong corporate support and leadership. Growing our footprint across the Downs marks the next chapter in our strong and successful offering”.

“We are now five offices, one team, leading the way in rural and residential sales, property management and clearing sales”, James said.

Director, Ray White Rural Warwick, James Arthur noted the expansion significantly strengthens service capability across the region.

“We now service Stanthorpe to Chinchilla and everywhere in between. This is a huge win for our clients, strengthening our brand across the Southern, Western and Darling Downs”.

“Our expansion into Stanthorpe solidifies our position as market leaders in real estate”, he said.

With five offices operating as one cohesive team, the group's expansion into Stanthorpe signals confidence in the region and a bold step forward in delivering premium rural and residential real estate services across Queensland’s key growth corridors.

Ray White Rural and Livestock CEO, Matt White said “Seeing the brand return to Stanthorpe, one of our original franchises, is incredibly special for our family and our network”.

“As a family-owned business, there’s immense pride in welcoming this office home under the new leadership of James and Sally Croft. Their growth across the Darling Downs reflects the strength of our people, our culture and our long-term commitment to Ray White Rural”, Matt said.
