Despite both Greater Sydney and Regional New South Wales being subjected to strict stay at home orders, Australasia’s largest real estate franchise has achieved it’s best August on record in the state.
Ray White New South Wales sold a total of $1.9 billion worth of property throughout the month of August, an increase of 45 per cent on the year prior. The group helped 3000 buyers and sellers across the locked down state with their property ambitions.
Ray White New South Wales | ACT CEO Andrew McCulloch said while this was not a record month overall for the business, it was the one he was most proud of.
“Open homes have become one-on-one or virtual inspections and auctions have moved online. While this has been difficult to navigate for our members, they have remained agile and determined to assist their clients, and that is something that I am very proud of.”
Mr McCulloch was also pleased to announce that two of the group’s biggest businesses, Ray White Canberra and Ray White Macarthur Group, each achieved their own best months on record.
“For businesses of this size to be achieving personal bests in this environment is just incredible,” Mr McCulloch said.
The Ray White Group recently welcomed two new businesses, both of which ranked within the top 10 across the state.
Four of the biggest names in real estate in the eastern suburbs have come together to form Ray White Eastern Beaches. In their first month of operation, directors James Hayashi, Angus Gorrie, Nicholas Wise and Nader Hotait have sold a total of $56 million worth of property. This achievement ranks them as number 10 in New South Wales and the ACT network.
Also new to the group is Sasha de Bilde and Ben McNamara at Ray White Pittwater Property in Mona Vale. The pair have sold a total of $63 million worth of property, placing them at number six in the business.
Mr McCulloch announced the highest performing business throughout the month was Ray White Upper North Shore, led by Greg Windel and David Walker. The business sold a total of $150 million worth of property throughout the month.
“It is no surprise that when met with adversity our best businesses only get better, and Greg and David’s business is no exception to this,” Mr McCulloch said.
“It would have been easy to sit back and wait for restrictions to be lifted, but they have met any objections head on and as a result have continued to grow and thrive.”
