THE management team behind the market leading Ray White Camperdown office have expanded their reach with the opening of their second business in nearby Colac.
Headed by managing director Davina Pickles (pictured right), the team, which includes local real estate expert and fellow director Alistair Tune (pictured middle) and operations manager Chloe Winzar (pictured left), brings together several decades of industry experience.Beginning her real estate career 10 years ago, Ms Pickles said she has always loved the industry and was excited to be able to make the switch after 15 years working in business at Colac.“I have always loved the challenges and opportunities in real estate. No day is ever the same and I am so happy that I am able to do something I am passionate about every day,” Ms Pickles said. Her extensive local knowledge and assured understanding of the industry, backed by her lengthy and successful track record, gives her the experience and skill set required to achieve the best possible price for any property in all market conditions.Born and bred Camperdown local Alistair Tune has worked hard to build a reputation as a hardworking, enthusiastic and approachable person willing to put the interest of his clients first.“I hadn’t intended to get into real estate but four and a half years ago Davina approached me and posed the question of whether I wanted to come onboard. If it had been anyone else I wouldn’t have considered it,” Mr Tune said.“I love being able to represent Camperdown and the wider region and show people why it's an amazing place to live. And as for Colac, I’m really excited to get in there because my parents grew up there and I have a lot of family connections in the town.”Meanwhile, Ms Winzar will take on the role of operations manager for both offices. Ms Winzar originally came from a mortgage broker background but since starting her career in real estate said she has tried almost every role in the business.“I was ready for a change from mortgage broking so I started in real estate as a receptionist and worked my way up. That grew into me moving up in the office where I found my passion in the administration and support side of the business,” Ms Winzar said.“My husband had the opportunity to move to Camperdown for work and that’s how I met Davina. I found her brilliant and loved the culture in her business.“The things she has taught me are invaluable and since joining the team several years ago I have only looked forward.”The Ray White Camperdown office are already market leaders in their area but Ms Pickles has set some ambitious new goals for her team with the opening of Ray White Colac which she said they are more than equal to achieving.“We are hoping that taking over Colac will help open up more of the rural market for us and along with Chris Peeters and Wayne Mackrell, we hope to keep growing our team with quality, local sales agents who keep our clients at the heart of everything they do,” Ms Pickles said. They are also hoping to capitalise on the influx of city buyers coming from intra and interstate for lifestyle holiday homes and farming tree changes.Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Stephen Dullens congratulated Ms Pickles and her team on opening a second office.“We are thrilled that Davina and her team are opening a second office in Colac,” Mr Dullens said.“Davina already runs a powerhouse agency in Camperdown providing excellent service to their customers. We are looking forward to watching her and the team continue to grow and succeed with this next venture and provide that same level of customer service for which they have become famous.“We’re looking forward to working with them and wish them every success.”
