  • Minimum Housing Standards - all tenancies

With the commencement of Phase 2 we have been busy working with our Queensland property management community educating the legislative changes. Tenancy reform presents in two parts. Initially it’s the new legislation we anxiously await to understand what new change there will be. However it is the regulations which support the new legislation and provide the real insight for property managers on how we should implement the new laws.

Our in person training commenced six months ago, but it has been on fortnightly webinars, evolving intranet page and market facing booklet supported by social tiles that has really resonated with our community of Queensland property managers.

Experience tells us that online learning is necessary and supports new property managers joining our group at this time for a quick upskill but in person and live webinars frequently has been the most successful for penetrating this new content.

It requires a proactive approach to ensure your business maintains its skill level, this is one many areas we underpin our agencies in Ray White.
