Amar Thakkar, Anil Malik and Mark Srivastava of the recently opened Ray White Point Cook office, have added Laverton to their area of expertise with a brand new office.

Ray White Laverton marks the sixth office to open under the leadership of the trio, with Ray White Tarneit, Ray White Truganina, Ray White Rockbank and Ray White New Homes Victoria already well established.

“The collaboration between our offices, as well as the wider Ray White network, will be a key factor in the success of our new Laverton business,” Mr Thakkar said.

The move into Ray White Laverton is a changing of the baton, with existing principal Henry Da Silva moving into a consultant role after starting his real estate career in 1987.

“Henry is a master of the real estate game in this region, and we are incredibly proud to be carrying on his legacy and learning from his expertise from the 35+ years that he has serviced the community,” Mr Malik said.

Mr Da Silva, who is a life member of Ray White and has collected a slew of awards over his years, was operating his office before email addresses existed.

“We are very excited to work with the entire existing team of 10 sales and property management staff at Ray White Laverton, and foster that collaboration with our Point Cook team,” Mr Srivastava said.

Mr Thakkar said that their ambitions to expand came from the desire to build the strongest market presence in the western corridor of Melbourne.

“The strength of Ray White’s brand, and their market presence in Melbourne will help us achieve our goals and service the community as best we can,” he said.

Mr Malik said that Laverton was one of the major pathways of getting into the CBD in Melbourne, and has a lot of potential for investors and owner occupiers.

“It is one of the more established pockets of the western suburbs, with a major perk being its excellent proximity to the freeway and connectivity into the city,”

“There is a wide range of housing for all types of buyers or renters, and the area has benefitted from a lot of development in the last five to ten years,” he said.

The trio said that they hope to continue on their growth trajectory, and are excited to watch the brand and business grow significantly over the coming years.

“We are technologically driven, and we always strive to be at the forefront with our data to assist our clients. We are also very focused on social media and using it to our business advantage; we thrive off customer feedback,” Mr Thakkar said.

Mr Srivastava said that recruitment will be a major focus straight away, putting on more productive agents to service the community, as well as growing their rent roll.

“Our goal is to make sure that we are the standout brand and become the go-to agency in Laverton,” Mr Srivastava said.

Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Stephen Dullens was thrilled by the team’s expansion into their Laverton office.

“The expansion into Laverton is a fantastic achievement for Amar, Anil and Mark; they should all be very proud of how far they have come already,” Mr Dullens said.

“We thank and congratulate Henry Da Silva for his 33 years of service as a Ray White principal, a truly remarkable achievement, and we know that he will continue to play an integral role in the success of Laverton,” he said.

“This is also a fantastic milestone for Amar, Anil, Mark and their teams further strengthening Ray White’s market leading position across Melbourne’s Western suburbs. We look forward to supporting their whole team as they continue to provide the best possible service to their customers,” Mr Dullens concluded.
