Mixed farming property on the Condamine sells for $14.58M
Ideally situated on the banks of the Condamine river, a 597ha Ellangowan property has sold under the hammer for $14.58 million.
The property attracted three bidders on auction day, including a buyer from central Queensland, a buyer from western Queensland, and a buyer from the New England tablelands. The winning bid went to the western Queensland buyer.
“The sellers are a longstanding family in the area who put their heart and soul into the development of the property which showed in the presentation and the productivity of the property,” Mr Arthur said.
“They are absolutely thrilled with the outcome.
“The buyers were drawn to the property thanks to its multiple income streams, ability to grow grain and fatten cattle.
“It was also a beautiful home on the Condamine River."
