With over 20 years of local area experience under his belt, David Bruce has made the move into business ownership with Australasia’s largest real estate group.

Mr Bruce said the stars aligned for him when the opportunity arose to open the new Ray White Kallangur office, after spending the last six months working out of Ray White Redcliffe, learning the Ray White way.

Prior to this, Mr Bruce spent 10 years building up his market share and reputation in the Brisbane northside region.

“I have always wanted to open my own real estate business, so this is a real dream come true,” Mr Bruce said.

“This area that I grew up in is incredibly special to me; before real estate I worked at the local tavern, and many of the people I’ve grown up with in the community are valued clients today.”

David Bruce is joined by his wife Teresa Bruce as Operations Manager. The pair are true locals, raising their own two children in nearby Mango Hill.

Also joining the fresh new team is local real estate veteren Lee Doyle, who has held his reputation as a top agent in the area since 2006. Mr Doyle takes on the role as Sales Manager, and is joined by his wife Deanne.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Lee and Dee as part of our new team, and we couldn’t have picked a better fit for helping us service the northside,” Mr Bruce said.

Mr and Mrs Bruce said that they spent a lot of time researching the best model for their new business, and after much deliberation decided to give Ray White a go.

“We were extremely impressed by the corporate team at Ray White, and you could really just feel the sense of family permeating throughout the business,” Mrs Bruce said.

Kallangur is 25km north of Brisbane, opposite North Lakes on the Bruce Highway. Mr Bruce said that the region made for a great choice for families because of its affordability and great local schools.

“Our average house price is around $410,000 which makes it a great Australian working class area; we have a real mix of housing from 70s and 80s builds, to more modern estates,” Mr Bruce said.

“There are over 300 houses sold in Kallangur annually, with a wide range of buyers; first home buyers, downsizers, young families who want to renovate and investors.”

Both Mr Bruce and Mr Doyle are known for their local expertise and proven track record, which they believe will set them on the path to becoming the new market leaders.

“We are really excited to embrace the technology that Ray White offers, and work with like minded people with a genuine passion for real estate,” Ms Bruce said.

“Our goal for the first 12 months is to really focus on our sales business, and down the track move into the property management space and recruit more excellent professionals,” she said.

Ray White QLD CEO Jason Andrew, congratulated the team on their new office.

“We are incredibly proud that David and Teresa are now operating as Ray White Kallangur,” Mr Andrew said.

“David is well established in the local community, and Ray White is always welcoming of energetic, ambitious leaders, and we are proud to have so many in our company. I personally can’t wait to see what he can achieve.”
