Local knowledge meets global exposure in Oakey

OAKEY locals Geoff and Julie Byers (pictured above) have lived and breathed agribusiness for decades and are now expanding to real estate with the opening of Ray White Rural Oakey.

The husband and wife team have always had a passion for real estate and are excited to announce the opening of their new Ray White Rural Oakey franchise on November 9.

Born and bred in Oakey, the pair have both had extensive careers in agribusiness including livestock, feed and commodity sales.

The couple know the area like the back of their hand with Mr Byers saying that their local knowledge will be one of their biggest assets. Community is also very important to the Byers with both emphasising a focus on creating a business that is community minded.

“We’ve got many years of experience in all aspects of everything in our local area,” Mr Byers said.

“But we will also bring professionalism and dedication to every single transaction as we know we are here to look after the client, whether they are buying, selling or leasing.

“We also value good customer service and take pride in giving our clients the very best service."

Real estate in Oakey varies from residential, smaller lifestyle and hobby farm blocks to larger scale grazing properties and farming land parcels and is known as a big producer of cereal crops and cattle. There are also plenty of opportunities for the Byers to expand into livestock and clearance sales in the future.
