Author Lisa O’Neill left the 3,000 strong Ray White audience at this year’s Connect conference inspired, energised and ready to change the way they look at life.
In an all-too-serious world, Lisa O'Neill was a colourful bubble of joy and laughter. Make no mistake, though, her memorable messages come from life-tested wisdom. In her session, Ms O’Neill asked how will you bring the most energy to everything you do, particularly after the last three years of depleted energy?Ms O’Neill, who has been called a human Berocca, had the room in stitches. She said this is because her energy is everything.“All of you have a wifi signal inside of you, we don’t know this about ourselves but our energy is what people buy,” she said.“If you walk into a store and the staff start cleaning then you have a bad energy.“Energy is everything, when you meet people they can feel you. I have so much energy, every single thing I do is designed to enhance my energy - what I eat, what I wear and who I talk to.“Energy is the only thing you have, it’s the only real currency you have. Money is just energy in paper form.”
The Kiwi encouraged the audience to spread their energy everywhere - like marmite, New Zealand’s answer to Vegemite.“Your job is to give your energy away, you do have to protect and look after your energy but you should get into bed and be exhausted because you have been so amazing,” Ms O’Neill said.“The interesting thing is, it starts in your thoughts and goes to your feelings. If you think ‘the world needs me’, then you’re right.“Everything you think creates a feeling and you are managing feelings all the time. The interesting thing about energy is your thoughts begin it and your emotions amplify it.“Everything you do is going to amplify or decrease your energy.”Everyone is seeking energy, joy, control, freedom, trust and action but Ms O’Neill said you can’t get those things without other elements.“You can’t get those things unless you have the things on the outside. Money is a thing, you have to be good with your money - it takes away the friction in life,” she said.“Being proactive around your health is important and you need to prioritise your time, it’s the most important thing you have.“Having good support, being passionate and getting yourself organised is essential.“You’re not passionate about houses, you’re passionate about people and making people’s dreams come true. You need to get really clear about what you’re passionate about.”
Being average is not something that interests Ms O’Neill who has created the life she wants by always striving for better. She said the real estate industry is one of her favourites.“It’s one of my favourite industries because everyone is trying really hard. You can’t be average, you have to get up and do really well all the time,” she said.“What if you could feel that feeling when you make a sale but all the time? Imagine how good you’d be if you had that feeling before you made a sale?“That’s why energy counts, that’s why you want to be excellent all the time. Everyone will try to mess with your energy - they either contribute or contaminate.”She stressed that if you’re horrible then no one wants to work with you.“Your level of vibrations depend on how much energy you have,” Ms O’Neill said.“If you are sitting in a down space then no one wants your vibe. What you put out is what you get.“You have to intend what you want and have to know what you’re giving out. If you are giving out love and kindness, people will return it.“I’m looking for kindness opportunities all the time because the world right now needs more kindness than it’s ever needed. It's better than sending out hate or fear.” Ray White's Connect 2022 Conference was held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre from August 8 to the 9th.
