Land Gets Scooped Up Near Sydney
Those interested in land sales in the Australia's most populous city may be intrigued by a recent announcement from Watagan Park.
Those interested in land sales in the Australia's most populous city may be intrigued by a recent announcement from Watagan Park.
The organisation reported that blocks of land in the Macquarie Lake region were selling every ten minutes since shortly after 08:00 this morning (July 8).
The properties located at Cooranbong at the floor of Watagan Mountains are part of a new estate, launched by private property developer Keith Johnson.
"Today has taken me more than 10 years of red tape, planning, frustration and angst but I was always very confident that Watagan Park is unlike any other development in the region," he said.
"People were queuing this morning and there has been a steady stream of buyers ever since."
Watagan Park is located about 100 kilometres north of Sydney and offers residents relaxed and scenic neighbourhoods.
In total, 36 blocks are expected to be sold by the end of the day.
"We will now have further land releases in the next few months and we expect the demand to continue," said Mr Johnson.
