The home featured in the iconic Australian television series, Kath and Kim has hit the market

After an unsuccessful marketing campaign at the end of last year, the property is now selling through Ray White Patterson Lakes principal’s Stephen and Genevieve Hill with price expectations above $1.3 million.

“The current owners purchased in 2014 and tried to sell last year with an out-of-area agent. Unfortunately it didn’t sell back then and we’re proud to be the agents entrusted to see through a successful sale,” Stephen explained.

Well known as the fictional residence of Kath Day-Knight and her husband, Kel, Stephen explains that there is more to the property than what is shown on the television series.

“During filming there was a fence that obscured the view. This property is right on the waterfront with its own boat mooring and direct access to the bay. Thankfully, that fence has been removed and the home now has uninterrupted water views as well as access to a private beach area,” he said.

The four bedroom home at 4 Lagoon Place, Patterson Lakes is largely untouched since filming of Kath and Kim. Stephen said many of the features seen in the home during the TV series remain today.

For sale by private treaty, Stephen concluded by saying the property is an ideal family home.

“Aside from its history, this really is a wonderful home. There are both formal and casual living spaces, and alfresco patio overlooking the water and plenty of room for a growing family,” he said.
