Local real estate identity Justin Gay is the new owner of Ray White Goulburn, one of the oldest Ray White agencies in New South Wales, and his goal is to sell a house a week and return to being the number one agency in the fast growing region.
With an impressive 12 year career behind him, Justin’s track record includes being part of the top two percent of sales people worldwide within his previous organisation. Justin has a achieved many street records also achieving one of the highest prices ever paid for a Residential property in Goulburn - $1.15million, sold to NSW Minister Prue Goward.
One of the oldest offices in the Ray White Group, Justin intends to build on Ray White Goulburn’s successful history, which included being the pioneer agency to produce photo and colour advertising in the local newspaper, and also the first agency in the area to host open homes.
“The team at Ray White Goulburn have been instrumental in how we do business in Goulburn today, and I am looking forward to making Ray White Goulburn the number one country office in NSW,” he said.
Along with embracing the history, Justin plans on changing the way Goulburn does real estate. With a flare for innovation and commitment to ensuring he delivers results, he intends to make sure that his buyers are as well looked after as his sellers.
“It is not about the first buyer, it is about the best buyer. We want to make the process of buying a home as seamless as possible by providing pest and building reports upfront to all prospective purchasers, and ensuring that our vendors are not out of pocket,” he said.
And in a community of 30,000, Justin is already well known for the care he provides when selling his client’s greatest asset, having sold 51 of the 560 homes sold in 2015. “Goulburn is fast becoming an in demand suburb for buyers, with 5.6 percent growth in the last year,” he said..
“There is a lot of Sydney investment and also absentee investors, however we are seeing a significant increase in development, both commercial and residential over the last two years,” he said. “More land is opening up, and we currently have on the market a 26 lot landmass.”
