High end Perth sale signals continued confidence
The private six bedroom masterpiece at 140 Victoria Avenue, Dalkeith, aptly named Fortune Bay House, had been home to it’s owners for many years.
IN another sign of confidence in the Australian prestige market, one of Perth’s finest riverfront homes has just been sold ahead of its scheduled auction tomorrow by leading agent Jody Fewster of Ray White Cottesloe | Mosman Park for $14 million to a local family.
The private six bedroom masterpiece at 140 Victoria Avenue, Dalkeith, aptly named Fortune Bay House, had been home to it’s owners for many years.
“Confidence is high in the Perth prestige market. I had five written offers for my owners, and the final sale price of $14 million is the highest sale price in Dalkeith in the last nine years,” Ms Fewster said.
“I had 15 private inspection groups view the home during the eight week campaign (under offer in under seven weeks) which was marketed extensively across Australia and overseas.
“The house is now unconditional and a local family will soon move in as they love the area and fell in love with the house.”

Dalkeith is a stunning suburb with a truly enviable lifestyle, and home to many of Perth’s best trophy mansions and famous families.
The owners moved to Perth in 2009 after previously owning a world class winery in France.
“We dearly love Perth but all five of our children now live overseas and we want to spend more time with them and our grandchildren,” the owner said.
“We have had a really good working relationship with Jody, it has been a pleasure to work with her and in a challenging market she obtained a great price.
“She has phenomenal energy and drive, a warm and cheery disposition, great focus and you know she will work with absolute honesty. We could not recommend her more highly enough.”
The deal is now unconditional.
