RAY WHITE GROUP will this weekend be waving the auction banner at 177 auctions across the country, while many families pack up the car, jump on a plane or hoist a sail as school holidays continue around Australia.

Ray White Cronulla partner Jill Yankos has had the tough job of spending time showing folks through this very up-market manse in Caringbah South.

The beautiful 45 Jacarandah Rd is a four bedroom, designer home that has been like a magnet to those looking for manageable luxury.

The owner builder only finished the amazing renovation six months ago, with a view to entering it in a prestigious industry competition later in the year.

With a guide of $1.8 million, over 125 groups (mainly families and downsizers) have come through, with the agency is expecting five or more bidders to attend the 1.30pm auction.

It’s that whole New York city living vibe that has the young turks inspecting 47/95 Euston Rd Alexandria (pictured above). It is a very cool apartment in a suburb with a quality buzz factor.

It’s rare to see a double height void, loft style, contemporary space with one bedroom and the price guide at $550,000 has many an investor's nose twitching with interest.

Ray White Surry Hills agents James Natoli and Jack McGhee say they’ve had 50 groups through – and they are pretty sure that at least five bidders will be back on Saturday to make an offer on this dual veranda space. More good news? The strata fees are a very reasonable $550 per quarter. This one kicks off at 10.30am so don’t sleep in.

To Victoria and there’s no point sugar coating it; 113 Hutton St, Thornbury, (pictured above) well, she’s seen better days and many, many of them.

In fact she’s 40 years old and hasn’t wasted any money on cosmetic work, more’s the pity.

Though that’s good for potential buyers, some 35 groups of which have lingered here, dreaming. Ray White Epping agent Con Tsalkos says most are eyeing the property as a KDRB, though some, as he puts it ‘have a more romantic view’, and most likely a builder in the family.

There are expected to be as many as 10 bidders looking for a bargain in the $800,000-$880,000 range on site at 11am.

For sporty Victorians there’s a hard to miss two-for one deal in Fawkner.

Two separate abodes on the one block are up for auction at 40 William Street. (pictured above)

Two standouts here are the investment/rental opportunity and the amazing location right next door to soccer fields, and just across the back fence is the Fawkner Leisure Centre which has indoor and outdoor pools, and all the gear you expect in a large gym.

Ray White Gladstone Park director Malek Younan said interest was high with a guide of $580,000-$620,000, and potential rental return of $600 per week.

And now to Forest Hill, where something is definitely going on with Ray White Forest Hill director Hugh Francis seeing more than 100 groups through each of his weekend auction properties.

The first is at 46 Victor Crescent Forest Hill, (pictured above) where 139 groups have admired the large bay windows and four bedrooms in this neat and tidy home.

Mr Frances believes with the realistic guide of between $760,000-$836,000 ten bidders are likely to take part in the 10.30am auction.

Next on the Forest Hill agenda is 143 Mahoneys Rd, (pictured above) a corner block which offers a note of intrigue for investors who may be looking to develop the site.

The block is slightly smaller at 582sqm, but then so is the price guide at between $750,000- $820,000. Hugh Frances will be auctioneer at both - and is expecting to see seven eager bidders in the audience on this occasion.

Auctioneer extraordinaire and Ray White Cheltenham sales agent Angela Limanis has tipped that her auction at 17 Allnut Parade, Cheltenham (pictured above) is looking good following great recent results and an ongoing shortage of properties in the area.

This one, with four bedrooms, ducted air and a bonus rumpus area has seen 90 groups through in just three weeks

It’s coming to auction with what she calls an aggressive price guide of between $750,000-$820,000, with bidders keen to get in to the area.

Over to South Australia and Ray White Norwood agent Nick Borrelli has a brand new semi on the block at 4 Staffa St, Broadview. (pictured above)

Mr Borrelli says that the 30 groups he’s seen through so far are thrilled with the brand new, spic and span home, but young families are equally happy to be near good schools.

At this stage two bidders are in the frame to make the midday auction a close race.

On Brisbane’s northside, Ray White North Lakes has two properties going under the hammer, the second one, 28 Ballestros Street was at 4.00pm and was a large five bedroom home.

The first one for the agency is at 2pm and is found at 20 Canundra St . (pictured above)

Ray White North Lakes agent Elle Evans says the groups though have been very keen about the Metricon name, and the well landscaped garden with pool and Bali hut.

She’s counting on at least two bidders being locked and loaded for the 2,00pm on site auction.
