MORE than 50 Ray White members hit the greens earlier this month for a good cause and a lot of laughs.
The Ray White Golf Day on Monday, April 8 at The Metropolitan Golf Club in Melbourne featured 51 Ray White Group delegates taking on the challenging sandbelt course for charity.
More than $10,000 was raised on the day for Finnan’s Gift - an organisation established by Alisa Camplin and her husband Oliver Warner following the death of their 10-day-old son, Finnan.
“With a shotgun start it was an early morning with 18 holes all to ourselves,” Ray White Ferntree Gully principal Matt Sims said.
“Not only was it a fantastic opportunity for a day of networking and entertaining clients, but the Group was proudly partnered with Finnan's Gift.”
The organisation was established as a tribute to Finnan and aims to raise money to help other babies suffering from congenital heart diseases.
“The charity donates to The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne in the form of tangible gifts which make a difference to children with congenital heart disease and their families,” Mr Sims said.
“Thanks to great sponsors Macquarie Bank, Loan Market, News Corp Australia, Homely, Excel Australasia and Mercedes 3-Point Motors and generous guests we raised $10,000 for the charity.”
