RAY White Group has always proudly been at the forefront of technology and now, in these unprecedented times, the leading brand is leading on how technology can revolutionize open homes and auctions, while keeping its valued customers safe and comfortable.

No-one knows this better than Ray White Noosa River Sales Agent Sharon McLure (pictured above) – who has a history of using technology, and in particular, FaceTime – for when you simply can’t have facetime.

“In adversity there’s always opportunity and we have the ability to still service our clients to a high standard by embracing the technological tools at our disposal,” Ms McLure said.

“Last year, there was an expat buyer based in Hong Kong who’d been looking for a property in the Noosa market for some time.

“They'd visited many properties whilst here to no avail. Then, we introduced 27 Banksia Avenue (pictured below), Noosa Heads to them as an off-market sale.

“This property had been on the market with three other agencies for over 551 days and I was in close contact with the sellers and secured the listing.

“As they'd already returned to Hong Kong, we arranged a private inspection via FaceTime and showed them through the whole property, with a very successful interactive virtual inspection.

“That enticed them to travel over to Australia and we ended up with a successful sale of $2,150,000, and although they did do a final inspection in person, it was the virtual experience that sold the property.”

Ms McLure has also successfully utilized technology when it comes to auctions, previously selling 48 Nairana Rest in Noosa Heads (pictured below), for $1,260,000.

“This particular buyer was the highest bidder at the auction and did buy the property as sight unseen,” she said.

“They were expats again, based in Singapore, looking to secure a Noosa Heads property to return home one day and they enquired three days prior to the auction.

“I showed them through the property via FaceTime and also arranged a building and pest inspection for them.

“They were satisfied enough to bid at the auction, so once again they bid via FaceTime and could actively see and hear other bids, and they ended up being my highest bidder on the day.

“No matter what the scenario, our customers deserve the best possible service, and it’s up to us to be smart and savvy and use all of the tools at our disposal. Potential buyers and sellers can feel confident we don’t leave any stone unturned in offering the best experience.”
