How did you become appointed?
Funny story actually. I saw the owner hanging around at the back of a cafe in Cronulla and I went to say hello. I was pumped up from an auction earlier in the week and was telling him how great the auction was. He later called and asked me to sell it and to send over the agency agreement! Love the walk up start.
What was the approximate marketing budget?
Around $5,500 - plus agent driven social media.
What marketing methods did you use?
Mainly the commercial websites, signboard and a big DL distribution. I pushed the sponsored ads on social media which saw approximately 19,000 views on YouTube. The engagement was off the charts and this was off the back of an approximately $1,000 investment from me personally.
What level of enquiry did you get?
We had around 100 enquiries.
What was the final result?
Five bidders in attendance and three actively bidding. Sold under the hammer for $3 million.
