Brisbane’s property big guns Haesley Cush and Matt Lancashire are on a mission to expand their growing network.
In an exciting step for Ray White Queensland, two of the network’s best regarded and top business owners are expanding from their established markets in New Farm and Spring Hill across the Brisbane River.
Ray White New Farm owners Matt Lancashire and Haesley Cush, together with two of their top agents from New Farm, Scott Darwon and Brandon Wortley, will now trade as Ray White Bulimba to service the vibrant inner city riverside community.
Four of Ray White Queensland’s top operators - who are all aligned with the group’s family values - will take their high performance culture across the river into Bulimba with huge success.
Ray White Managing Director Dan White said this was a perfect market for a great team to continue to chase its potential and facilitate the development of ambitious leadership talent.
“We are very excited to be getting into Bulimba in a big way. It’s a really good fit for us. We love the energy, the village vibe and the riverfront properties. This is exactly our sweet spot,” Mr Cush said.
“We have never been shy about our ambition to create a multiple office network within the Ray White Group.
“We both have an extremely tight relationship with the White Family and believe that partnering with the Whites, while driving our own businesses will be able to offer our clients and staff the support and exposure unable to be offered by any other real estate group.”
The riverside suburb of Bulimba has a famous village charm with contemporary elegance. The suburb is home to classic old cinemas, art galleries, bookshops, alfresco eateries and beautifully renovated Queenslander houses, making this district a great place to visit and explore.
The main hub of Oxford St pulses during the day, with fashion houses, boutiques and chic cafes enjoying lively activity.
Mr Lancashire, who has long been a prestige property specialist and the top sales agent in Brisbane, was excited to list and sell on “both sides of the river, so to speak”.
“For a long time now, many of our buyers and sellers have come from Bulimba and surrounds so it is a natural fit for us to expand. The opportunity presented itself so we grabbed it with both hands,” he said.
Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland has long supported the pair’s plan for a multi office group to create a one- stop inner city agency for buyers and sellers in Brisbane.
“Haesley and Matt are a winning combination as they are not shy of hard work and know how to market all properties in all price points. I love their energy and enthusiasm.”
Matt Lancashire is widely regarded as one of the country’s best salespeople and marketers, and he has broken the Brisbane house price record three times in the last four years.
“I have been consistent in selling the top six out the top 10 homes across Brisbane in this period too. In my business, I have built relationships with a number of high end buyers where I run an exclusive database of buyers who I know are looking to transact in every price category. This expansion will be great for everyone in my network.”
Those who work in this team can expect to receive frequent mentoring, weekly in house training, coaching, monthly awards, quarterly strategy meetings and annual retreats.
Ray White Bulimba managing principal Scott Darwon said the new business was a wonderful example of “ambition meeting growth”.
“I have worked with Haesley and Matt for more than 10 years, starting as a green sales associate so it is a dream come true to now be in business with my friends and mentors.”
Ray White Bulimba managing principal Brandon Wortley said he was pumped about the future.
“We have such big plans and the sky literally is the limit.”
