Australia's biggest stock horse sale in Dalby

UP to 260 horses will be heading to auction and over $70,000 in cash and prizes will be up for grabs at the 44th Ray White-sponsored annual Dalby Stock Horse Sale, Australia's biggest stock horse-only sale event.

The four-day extravaganza, starting on Thursday 29 November with meet and greets with Ray White agents and ending on Sunday 01 December, gives owners the opportunity to showcase their prized horses before they go under the gavel.

Ray White Dalby Principal Roger Lyne said the event brings buyers, sellers and horses from all over Australia and is a key day in the Dalby calendar.

“This event is one the people of Dalby genuinely get excited about and it’s fantastic we’re able to play such a crucial role in a successful weekend,” Mr Lyne said.

“It’s where some beautiful horses get to take centre stage and show off their wonderful skills and talents before being purchased by enthusiastic buyers.

“The weekend has everything from a ladies’ morning tea, through to rooftop restaurant dinners and stock horse challenges, through to parades and working demonstrations.

“This year the prize pool for the Open Incentive Campdraft will be increased to an impressive $36,000. This’ll take the total prize pool for the 2018 Incentive program to $70,000 in cash - plus prizes.

“All horses purchased out of the Dalby Sale since 2011 are eligible for these incentives.”
