Ray White Lower North Shore Group.

CHRISTMAS came early for many charities as Ray White’s Christmas initiative ‘A Little Ray of Giving’ raised thousands of gifts, money and more than 300 bags of non-perishables across Australia and New Zealand.

More than 350 offices across the Ray White Group signed up to the cause, with over 11,000 presents gathered, $2,200 in cash, $1,000 in gift cards and 307 food bags donated.

Ray White Group Director Dan White said he was delighted that for a seventh year in a row so many offices participated and he was proud to have supported a number of charities.

“Ray White is a family-owned and family-run business and there really is no better time than Christmas to come together to help people less fortunate,” Mr White said.

“It's at this time of year when we love to give back to our communities and help in any way we can.

“I’d like to give a special mention to the Lower North Shore Group in Sydney, our leading ‘Little Ray’ office for the year. They alone collected over 1,500 gifts, which is an exceptional effort.

Ray White North Adelaide also deserve a lot of credit for the effort they put in to making the community aware of our initiative as they raised more than 700 gifts and $200 in cash.

Ray White Pomona Hinterland (above) in Queensland went a step further, being named as the best decorated office, so congratulations to them for their Christmas spirit.

Ray White Robina (above) also deserve a mention for coming in as our best-decorated runner-up.

“It’s wonderful so many charities get to benefit from this drive with Ronald McDonald House, The Salvation Army and AnglicareSA, to name a few.

“It’s a source of personal pride that our network has come together in such a positive way to raise a substantial number of gifts, money and food bags for people in our communities.”
